Edwin Kazinja
Founder and Managing DirectorMy name is Edwin Kazinja Rweyemamu. I was bone in 05th, November, 1995 in Bushekya village in Kagera region which found Western part of Tanzania the region is famous for producing local alcohol from bananas and bananas are used as the main food. Also, the region is located where there are borders to get in Rwanda and Uganda countries.
My father has been farmer in Kagera region also a fisher man and business man in Rwanda and Uganda countries I proud of him since through his career I got opportunity to experience various cultures of African people especially Uganda and Rwanda societies since he told me stories about cultures of Rwanda and Uganda societies and I experienced them in Kagera region when I was young since there were so much interactions of various societies from Rwanda and Uganda.
I feel proud to be born in this region where I learned different cultures of African people which now, I can expose them to the world.
My long journey resumed after accomplishing my advanced level education where I joined University studies at Saint Augustine university of Tanzania in Arusha region where I studied bachelor of science in tourism and hospitality Management, The opportunity of being in Arusha region added my credit in experiencing African cultures, where I met various cultures in this northern part of Tanzania, After being in Arusha I loved so much Masaai people since they were so friendly to everyone in the town.
During my university studies I got opportunity to travel in Zanzibar Island for my first field training in one of five-star hotels, Actually I felt much joyful to serve and met guests from various parts of the world who explained to me the life of another part of the world. Once I joined second year of studies I got another opportunity to work in one of my maasai friend tour company and other African tour companies where I worked as porter toward Kilimanjaro mountain (The View Of Africa) also sales and Marketing person, Also After second year of studies I got chance to volunteer in Southern part of Tanzania where I worked as Tour Guide in Udzungwa mountains National park which situated between Iringa and Morogoro regions the only regions where you can meet Hehe society, Ruguru society and Pogoro society . Due to in and out in tourism industry in the land of Africa after getting my bachelor degree of Science in tourism and hospitality management I come up with idea of exposing my knowledge and experience to worldwide to what I know about Africa through establishing Giraffe Safari Company with the aim of offering incredible experience to all African Adventures for all people from other parts of the world and Africa itself. I decided to call my company Giraffe Safari since Giraffe is safe, and friendly animal to human being so once you choose Giraffe Safari company hope that you will be travelling with a safe and friendly company for everything.
