Day 1 : Arrival

Jommo Kenyatta International Airport on arrival in Kenya, you will be met by one of Giraffe Safari representative who will welcome you and who will transfer you from the airport to Nairobi city. Day 2: Nairobi – Lake Nakuru

After your breakfast in morning you will get drive to Lake Nakuru National Park making a brief stop at Nyahururu Thomson Falls. Lake Nakuru is famous for the presence of up to two million Flamingos, seasonally feeding on the abundant algae. Besides the flamingos that the lake is famous for, there are approx 400 other species of birds visiting the lake. Day 3: Lake Nakuru – Masai Mara

After breakfast in the morning and drive along the floor of the Rift Valley

The famous Masai Mara Game Reserve is known for its density of animals including the Big Five and 453 species of birds, it is one of the most visited reserves in Africa. This National Reserve’s plains are predominantly open Savannah, interspersed with patches of acacia woodland, and along the Mara River, riparian forest.

Whilst game viewing is excellent in the Mara all year round, the most popular time to visit is in late July into August where, over one million Wildebeest and hundreds of thousands of Zebra migrate from the Serengeti. Day 4: Masai Mara Game Reserve.

After your breakfast you will continue with a full day game drive to Masai Mara which is situated in south-west Kenya and is one of Africa greatest Wildlife Reserves. Day 8: Arusha city – Arusha National Park.

After breakfast in morning at hotel you will meet our professional Giraffe safari tour guide driver , who will give you short safari briefing, Then drive way to Arusha National Park. Day 9: Arusha City – Tarangire National Park.

Day 11. Lake Eyasi – Ngorongoro Crater.

After breakfast and your picnic lunch then you will drive to Ngorongoro Conservation Area for descending into the Crater floor to do full day game drive which is famous for spotting all the AFRICAN BIG FIVE Rhino, Lion, Leopard, Buffalo and Elephant live in this wonderful caldera, others are Zebra Hippo Wildebeest Hyena and more Birds includes flamingos on the Soda lake, Geese, Storks and Vultures and overnight stay at LUXURY: Ngorongoro sopa Lodge . Day 12: Ngorongoro crater – Serengeti.

After your breakfast you will drive to Serengeti which takes 2hours to 3hours from Ngorongoro Conservation Area to Serengeti you will drive through Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Where you will enjoy the beautiful of Serengeti. Serengeti is among of wonders of the world, a full day of game drives in this wildlife haven is nothing short of thrilling, The park has endless with 14,763square kilometers. Day 13: Serengeti.

After your breakfast you will start a full day game drive. You will  follow the Kopjes Circuit, which goes anti-clockwise around the Maasai Kopjes, which usually attract a number of lion and some formidably large cobras. Kopjes are weathered granite outcrops, scattered around the plains, most of which are miniature ecosystems, providing shade and drinking water in pools left in the rock after the rains. This makes the kopjes particularly good for spotting wildlife in the dry seasons – including lions, which like to lie in wait for animals coming to drink! And overnight stay at the accommodation selected on day 12. 

Day 14: Serengeti – Lake Natron.

After your breakfast you will start drive to Lake Natron which takes about 5hours from Serengeti to Lake Natron. Lake Natron is apparently the breeding site for the lesser and greater flamingos who migrate here every year from as far as Lake Nakuru, and Baringo in Kenya. There after you will be on your way again to Lake Natron, with views of more Maasai villages and wildlife; arriving in time for lunch at your accommodation. After lunch at he lodge and a short rest you will go for a walk at the Lake and depending on water levels you can take a dip or go for a boat ride. You will have the chance also to walk upstream of the Ngaresero River up to the water falls. On your walk upstream you are likely to encounter monkeys and baboons along the way. Day 15: Lake Natron – Lake Manyara

Day 16: Lake Manyara – Arusha.

In morning is one of the few lazy mornings to you. Day 18: Kigali – Nyungwe Forest Np

After your breakfast you will drive towards the famous Nyungwe Forest, one of the largest forests in East and Central Africa. The forest is abundant with flora and fauna including 13 primate species from colobus monkeys, manga beys, blue monkeys and, of course, the chimpanzees. Nyungwe Forest is also a famous location for birders. With about 310 recorded bird species, 26 of which are endemic, this is one of the most important – and still little known – bird-watching destinations in Africa. You will have lunch . Day 19: Nyungwe National Park.

After your breakfast in morning you will go to the chimpanzee tracking trail in either the Cyamudongo or Uwinka sections. The total population between the two groups is a healthy 80 individuals. This exciting up-close encounter with human’s closest relative you will not soon forget. After the chimp tracking you can relax at the lodge or choose an optional activity that you can discuss with your guide. Day 20: Nyungwe Np – Volcano Np.

After your breakfast you will be driven to northeast to the town of Musanze close to the Virunga Volcano range you will have lunch. Day 21: Volcano National Park.

After your breakfast, you will drive into the park about 30 minutes to the Office of Rwanda Tourism National Park . The head ranger of the park will divide you into groups based on interest and fitness. You will track the Gorillas of one of the habituated groups who can tolerate the presence of humans for a brief period every day. Prepare for an exciting journey along forested slopes, entwined vines, bushes and bamboo before you eventually reach the gorillas.Your guide will point out signs of previous gorilla activity, including dung, nests and chewed bamboo shoots. The time taken to track the gorillas can take as little as half an hour to as much as 8 hours. Once located, you will be allowed a maximum of one hour with the gorillas. Coming face-to-face with a mountain gorilla is a humbling and emotional experience. Then you will have dinner with overnight at accommodation selected on day 20.

 

Day 22: Volcano Np – Kigali.

After your breakfast in morning you will drive from your  hotel in Kampala city  towards Fort Portal town through Mityana and Mubende towns. The drive will take an average 6 hours to Kibale. Along the way you will be driving through farm land of the local subsistence farmers and later entering large tea plantations one of the cash crops in Uganda.You will have short standing here for having fantastic photos then for having lunch then you will enjoy nature walk in the forest and you can have option adventure to Crater lakes  in evening you will have dinner and overnight stay at LUXURY:Crater Safari Lodge COMFORT:Isunga Lodge EASY: Rweteera Safari camp or another accommodation of the same category. 

 

Day 25: Kibale Forest National Park.

After your breakfast in the  morning you will go at the Kanyanchu river camp Tourist Centre at 07.45am for group allocation and briefing on the Do’s and Don’ts of Chimpanzee tracking.Kibale Forest National Park has a variety of primates. 13 species have been recorded, including; L’Hoest’s monkey, the black and white colobus, red tailed monkey, coppery tailed monkey, Uganda mangabey, among others Chimpanzee trekking is the main attraction here. The trek takes an average of 4 hours, and on this trek, other Primates and some rare Bird species (325) plus butterflies can be seen.After spending an hour with our closes cousins, you will return to the lodge for lunch. In the afternoon, we visit Bigodi Wetland sanctuary for a community Nature walk where you are to see many birds and 4-5 monkey species.And you will have overnight stay at the accommodation selected on day 24.

 

Day 26:Kibale Np – Queen Elizabeth NP.

After your breakfast in morning you will drive from Kibale National Park to Queen Elizabeth National Park,You will be driving through big banana plantations, maize, cotton and sunflowers on season.And will drive on the foothills of Mt Rwenzori and a copper mining town of Kasese. Day 27: Queen Elizabeth National Park.

After your breakfast you will go for game drive to Kasenyi which is a section of Queen Elizabeth National Park.Kasenyi tracks presents the best region for game viewing because of the open grounds which attracts Big game.

You will have opportunity to see and experience the BIG CATS which are more active in the morning such as Lions and Leopards however other animals will be seen; Hyenas, Elephants, Buffalo, Antelopes and different bird species after game drive you will get lunch at the lodge also in evening you will go for a boat cruise on Kazinga channel which is wonder of its own, you can not make imagination how close you get to giant animals like Buffalos and Elephants which come to the banks of the channel for water.

Day 28: Queen Elizabeth Np-south of Queen Elizabeth-Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.
After breakfast, you will drive to the southern part of Queen Elizabeth National park. It is the most remote part and less visited though very rich in Game. It is fantastic due to the availability of the Tree climbing Lions. Other gaming potentials include the rare Leopard, Hyenas, Giant forest hogs, Topi, big herds of Uganda kob you will drive through Maramagambo forest which presents opportunities of seeing some primates such as Baboons, Red tailed Colobus, Black and white Colobus, L’hoest’s monkey, among others. Day 29: Bwindi impenetrable National park

After your breakfast in the morning , you will go to the Visitor center for briefing and Gorilla group allocation before being guided in the forest by the park ranger guide and armed escorts. Trekking is very physical but interesting, different vegetation in the forest and atmosphere is rewarding.The trek might be long or short depending on the movements of the Gorillas, but seeing the peaceful giants brings ease in your heart, and hour with them seems like minutes. Just enjoy the breath taking hour before returning back. Depending on time of arrival from gorilla tracking, other optional interesting activities can be arranged in Bwindi, such as; Forest nature walks, Batwa experience, Community walks, Bike riding, among others.Then you will have dinner and overnight stay at the accommodation selected on day 28 .

Day 30: Bwindi NP- Kampala

Day 5: Nairobi (Kenya) – Arusha (Tanzania)

After your breakfast you will be driven to Jommo Kenyata International Airport where you will catch your flight to Kilimanjaro Airport at International Airport (JRO) on arrival in Tanzania, you will be met by one of Giraffe Safari representative who will welcome you and who will transfer you from the airport to Arusha town. Day 6: Arusha city – Arusha National Park.

After breakfast in morning at hotel you will meet our professional Giraffe safari tour guide driver , who will give you short safari briefing, Then drive way to Arusha National Park. Arusha national Park has three most significant features include the rugged Mount Meru (Tanzania’s second highest peak with 4566m), Momela Lakes, and the 3km wide Ngurudoto Crater, which was formed about fifteen million years ago.Where you will do walking safari, game drive and get enjoyed beautiful giraffe, baboons also bird watching until evening and driving back to Hotel in Arusha city of day 5.

 

Day 7: Arusha City – Tarangire National Park.

After breakfast  with picnic lunch you will start drive from Arusha city to Tarangire National park which takes 2hours then you will enjoy  Morning game viewing in Tarangire National Park, Tarangire is a beautiful park filled with Baobabs and Acacias with a large variety of game such as zebras, elephants, giraffes, and water buck.After you will get overnight . Day 8: Tarangire – Lake Eyasi.

After your breakfast ,then you will drive to Lake Eyasi where you will have chance to join a walk with local Bushmen hunters and spend time participating in the morning routine of the settlement. Our professional local guide will interpret for you and discuss local hunting techniques still used by these tribes. Just get ready with extraordinary cross-cultural experience as you join these nomadic Bushmen in their daily life. And overnight stay. Day 9. Lake Eyasi – Ngorongoro Crater.

After breakfast and your picnic lunch then you will drive to Ngorongoro Conservation Area for descending into the Crater floor to do full day game drive which is famous for spotting all the AFRICAN BIG FIVE Rhino, Lion, Leopard, Buffalo and Elephant live in this wonderful caldera, others are Zebra Hippo Wildebeest Hyena and more Birds includes flamingos on the Soda lake, Geese, Storks and Vultures and overnight stay at LUXURY: Ngorongoro sopa Lodge . Day 10: Ngorongoro crater – Serengeti.

After your breakfast you will drive to Serengeti which takes 2hours to 3hours from Ngorongoro Conservation Area to Serengeti you will drive through Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Where you will enjoy the beautiful of Serengeti. Serengeti is among of wonders of the world, a full day of game drives in this wildlife haven is nothing short of thrilling, The park has endless with 14,763square kilometers. Day 11: Serengeti.

After your breakfast you will start a full day game drive. You will  follow the Kopjes Circuit, which goes anti-clockwise around the Maasai Kopjes, which usually attract a number of lion and some formidably large cobras. Kopjes are weathered granite outcrops, scattered around the plains, most of which are miniature ecosystems, providing shade and drinking water in pools left in the rock after the rains. This makes the kopjes particularly good for spotting wildlife in the dry seasons – including lions, which like to lie in wait for animals coming to drink! And overnight stay at the accommodation selected on day 10. 

Day 12: Serengeti – Lake Natron.

After your breakfast you will start drive to Lake Natron which takes about 5hours from Serengeti to Lake Natron. Lake Natron is apparently the breeding site for the lesser and greater flamingos who migrate here every year from as far as Lake Nakuru, and Baringo in Kenya. There after you will be on your way again to Lake Natron, with views of more Maasai villages and wildlife; arriving in time for lunch at your accommodation. After lunch at he lodge and a short rest you will go for a walk at the Lake and depending on water levels you can take a dip or go for a boat ride. You will have the chance also to walk upstream of the Ngaresero River up to the water falls. On your walk upstream you are likely to encounter monkeys and baboons along the way. Day 13: Lake Natron – Lake Manyara

After breakfast in morning with your picnic lunch ,will drive way to Lake Manyara for game drive which are 3hours from Lake Natron to Lake Manyara National park, the park has more than 400species and  which famous for availability of climbing lions tree and flamingos on the lake. Day 14: Lake Manyara – Arusha.

In morning is one of the few lazy mornings to you. Day 15: Arusha (Tanzania) – Kigali (Rwanda)

Day 16: Kigali – Nyungwe Forest Np

After your breakfast you will drive towards the famous Nyungwe Forest, one of the largest forests in East and Central Africa. The forest is abundant with flora and fauna including 13 primate species from colobus monkeys, manga beys, blue monkeys and, of course, the chimpanzees. Nyungwe Forest is also a famous location for birders. With about 310 recorded bird species, 26 of which are endemic, this is one of the most important – and still little known – bird-watching destinations in Africa. You will have lunch . Day 17: Nyungwe National Park.

After your breakfast in morning you will go to the chimpanzee tracking trail in either the Cyamudongo or Uwinka sections. The total population between the two groups is a healthy 80 individuals. This exciting up-close encounter with human’s closest relative you will not soon forget. After the chimp tracking you can relax at the lodge or choose an optional activity that you can discuss with your guide. And you will have dinner with overnight stay at accommodation selected on day 16.

Day 18: Nyungwe Np – Volcano Np.

After your breakfast you will be driven to northeast to the town of Musanze close to the Virunga Volcano range you will have lunch. Day 19: Volcano National Park.

After your breakfast, you will drive into the park about 30 minutes to the Office of Rwanda Tourism National Park . The head ranger of the park will divide you into groups based on interest and fitness. You will track the Gorillas of one of the habituated groups who can tolerate the presence of humans for a brief period every day. Prepare for an exciting journey along forested slopes, entwined vines, bushes and bamboo before you eventually reach the gorillas.Your guide will point out signs of previous gorilla activity, including dung, nests and chewed bamboo shoots. The time taken to track the gorillas can take as little as half an hour to as much as 8 hours. Once located, you will be allowed a maximum of one hour with the gorillas. Coming face-to-face with a mountain gorilla is a humbling and emotional experience. Then you will have dinner with overnight at accommodation selected on day 18.

 

Day 20: Volcano Np – Kigali.

Day 21: Kigali (Rwanda) – Kampala (Uganda)

After your breakfast you will be driven from your hotel to Kigali International Airport where you will catch your flight to Entebe International Airport on arrival in Uganda, you will be met by one of Giraffe Safari representative who will welcome you and who will transfer you from the airport to Kampala city. You will spend the night in this busy tourist town. Day 22: Kampala – Kibale Forest Np.

After your breakfast in morning you will drive from your  hotel in Kampala city  towards Fort Portal town through Mityana and Mubende towns. The drive will take an average 6 hours to Kibale. Along the way you will be driving through farm land of the local subsistence farmers and later entering large tea plantations one of the cash crops in Uganda.You will have short standing here for having fantastic photos then for having lunch then you will enjoy nature walk in the forest and you can have option adventure to Crater lakes  in evening you will have dinner and overnight stay at LUXURY:Crater Safari Lodge COMFORT:Isunga Lodge EASY: Rweteera Safari camp or another accommodation of the same category. 

 

Day 23: Kibale Forest National Park.

After your breakfast in the  morning you will go at the Kanyanchu river camp Tourist Centre at 07.45am for group allocation and briefing on the Do’s and Don’ts of Chimpanzee tracking.Kibale Forest National Park has a variety of primates. 13 species have been recorded, including; L’Hoest’s monkey, the black and white colobus, red tailed monkey, coppery tailed monkey, Uganda mangabey, among others Chimpanzee trekking is the main attraction here. The trek takes an average of 4 hours, and on this trek, other Primates and some rare Bird species (325) plus butterflies can be seen.After spending an hour with our closes cousins, you will return to the lodge for lunch. In the afternoon, we visit Bigodi Wetland sanctuary for a community Nature walk where you are to see many birds and 4-5 monkey species.And you will have overnight stay at the accommodation selected on day 22.

 

Day 24: Kibale Np – Queen Elizabeth.

After your breakfast in morning you will drive from Kibale National Park to Queen Elizabeth National Park,You will be driving through big banana plantations, maize, cotton and sunflowers on season.And will drive on the foothills of Mt Rwenzori and a copper mining town of Kasese. After arriving in Queen Elizabeth National Park, you will have Lunch at the lodge and you have an evening game drive and overnight stay at LUXURY:Kingfisher Lodge COMFORT:Mweya safari lodge EASY: UWA Campsite or another accommodation of the same category. 

 

Day 25: Queen Elizabeth National Park.

After your breakfast you will go for game drive to Kasenyi which is a section of Queen Elizabeth National Park.Kasenyi tracks presents the best region for game viewing because of the open grounds which attracts Big game.

You will have opportunity to see and experience the BIG CATS which are more active in the morning such as Lions and Leopards however other animals will be seen; Hyenas, Elephants, Buffalo, Antelopes and different bird species after game drive you will get lunch at the lodge also in evening you will go for a boat cruise on Kazinga channel which is wonder of its own, you can not make imagination how close you get to giant animals like Buffalos and Elephants which come to the banks of the channel for water.

Other animals which can be seen include; Giant forest hogs, Hippopotamus, Nile crocodiles and many bird species like Great white pelicans, African spoonbills, Great cormorants, African fish eagles among others then you will have dinner with overnight stay at the accommodation selected on day 24.

Day 26: Queen Elizabeth Np-south of Queen Elizabeth-Kampala.

 

After breakfast, you will drive to the southern part of Queen Elizabeth National park. It is the most remote part and less visited though very rich in Game. It is fantastic due to the availability of the Tree climbing Lions. Other gaming potentials include the rare Leopard, Hyenas, Giant forest hogs, Topi, big herds of Uganda kob you will drive through Maramagambo forest which presents opportunities of seeing some primates such as Baboons, Red tailed Colobus, Black and white Colobus, L’hoest’s monkey, among others. After game drive you will have lunch and drive to Kampala at your hotel or to Entebbe International Airport depend with your flight schedule.
