Day 1 : Arrival

Jommo Kenyatta International Airport on arrival in Kenya you will meet with one of Giraffe Safari representative who will welcome you and who will transfer you from the airport to Nairobi city. You will spend the night in this busy tourist town where you will get short briefing from our representative at hotel and leave you to relax for while and have dinner at  LUXURY: Sarova Stanley Hotel  COMFORT: Hill Park Hotel EASY:Nairobi UpperHill Hotel  or another accommodation of the same category.

Day 2 : Nairobi – Masai Mara

After breakfast in the morning and drive along the floor of the Rift Valley. The famous Masai Mara Game Reserve is known for its density of animals including the Big Five and 453 species of birds, it is one of the most visited reserves in Africa. This National Reserve’s plains are predominantly open Savannah interspersed with patches of acacia woodland and along the Mara River riparian forest.

Whilst game viewing is excellent in the Mara all year round the most popular time to visit is in late July into August where over one million Wildebeest and hundreds of thousands of Zebra migrate from the Serengeti. The dramatic river crossings are a gruesome spectacle of survival of the fittest. Day 3: Masai Mara Game Reserve.

After your breakfast you will continue with a full day game drive to Masai Mara which is situated in south-west Kenya and is one of Africa greatest Wildlife Reserves. Together with the Serengeti National Park in Tanzania it forms Africa most diverse, incredible and most spectacular Eco-Systems and possibly the world’s top safari big game viewing Eco-System. I am sure you have heard the wildebeest migration is nothing short of amazing. It is one of the things you have do add to your bucket list. This will be the full day explore the Masai Mara, breakfast will be served as early as 0730am, then our cook will pack for you fresh picnic lunch since the whole day will be exploring the Masai Mara famous 7th wonder of the World. This game reserve is Kenya’s finest wildlife sanctuary. Including migrants well over 450 species of animals have been recorded here. Mara plains are filled with migrating wildebeest and zebra, there is also resident wildlife year round. The Mara’s gentle fertile climate bounded by The Rift, offers perhaps the richest stocked reserve set within some 1672 sq km – an unlimited spectacle of wildlife. Located 268 km west of Nairobi, the emphasis here is on game. Herds of immense Elephants, browse among Lion, Buffalo, Thompson Gazelle, Zebra and Topi. You may occasionally sight black Rhino. In the Mara River Hippos play and Cross bask on the banks. The annual migration of a million Wildebeest follows the rains north.After enjoying the park you will go back back to your accommodation selected on day 2.

Day 4: Masai Mara -Nairobi

Day 5: Nairobi (Kenya) – Arusha (Tanzania)

After your breakfast you will be driven to Jommo Kenyata International Airport where you will catch your flight to Kilimanjaro Airport at International Airport (JRO) on arrival in Tanzania you will meet by one of Giraffe Safari representative who will welcome you and who will transfer you from the airport to Arusha town. You will spend the night in this busy tourist town. Day 6: Arusha City – Tarangire – Lake Manyara.

After breakfast  with picnic lunch you will start drive from Arusha city to Tarangire National park which takes 2 hours then you will enjoy morning game viewing in Tarangire National Park as Tarangire is a beautiful park filled with Baobabs and Acacias with a large variety of game such as zebras, elephants, giraffes, and water buck  then after game drive you will drive to Lake Manyara for game drive. If you are lucky you might spot the tree climbing lions, while lazily resting on the branches of an Acacia tree other games to be spotted includes Elephant, hippo, giraffe, buffalo and many other animals. Day 7: Lake Manyara – Serengeti 

After breakfast you will drive to Serengeti National Park which takes about 4 hours to 5 hours. On the way you will stop at the Olduvai Gorge where anthropologists Louis and Mary Leakey made many significant discoveries, contributing to the theory that human life originated in Africa after stopping you will get your picnic lunch on a kopje (rock outcropping) in Serengeti you will continue further into the park and go on a game drive then you will get overnight at LUXURY: Serengeti sopa Lodge COMFORT: Seronera wildlife lodge  EASY: Seronera Public campsite or another accommodation of the same category.

Day 8: Serengeti

After your breakfast you will start a full day game drive. You will  follow the Kopjes Circuit which goes anti-clockwise around the Maasai Kopjes which usually attract a number of lion and some formidably large cobras. Kopjes are weathered granite outcrops scattered around the plains most of which are miniature ecosystems providing shade and drinking water in pools left in the rock after the rains. This makes the kopjes particularly good for spotting wildlife in the dry seasons including lions which like to lie in wait for animals coming to drink and you will get overnight stay at the accommodation selected on day 7. 

Day 9: Serengeti-Ngorongoro Crater.

After breakfast and your picnic lunch you will do half game drive to serengeti and drive to Ngorongoro conservation Area which takes about 2 hours to 3 hours where on the way you will enjoy the landscape of Ngorongoro Conservation and you will get overnight stay at LUXURY: Ngorongoro sopa Lodge COMFORT: Ngorongoro Wildlife lodge EASY: Camping at Simba public Campsite or another accommodation of the same category.

Day 10: Ngorongoro crater – Arusha.
After breakfast and your picnic lunch then you will descend into the Crater floor to do half day game drive which is famous for spotting all the AFRICAN BIG FIVE Rhino, Lion, Leopard, Buffalo and Elephant live in this wonderful caldera others are Zebra, Hippo, Wildebeest, Hyena and more Birds includes flamingos on the Soda lake, Geese, Storks and Vultures after half day game drive you will start drive back to Arusha you will be taken for your selected hotel or Airport depend on your flight schedule.
